| Tournament Specific Rules
|
- Team Seeding:
The CPL will seed all teams pre-registered by September 25th. Late registers will be seeded by Tournament Organizers
- Minimum Attendance:
A minimum of 8 teams must attend the event for an Autoberth to be awarded
- Tournament format:
The tournament will be run in a single elimination format until an eight team bracket, at which time it will become a double elimination format
- BYOC:
Bringing your own computer is allowed, but competitor computers may not be used in the tournament
- Maps:
A map cycle list will be created, and all matches will run according to this map cycle list. No dice will be rolled to determine maps
- Registration:
All players must be 16 to enter into the qualifier. Players under 17 must have a signed consent form with them. At time of registration, all players must sign a release form
Registration is from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Late registrations will not be accepted.
- Peripherals:
Players are invited to bring their own peripherals, and must bring all necessary installation disks. If in the periph set-up time, their periph is found to be non-compliant with the tournament machines, they must use another location approved periph.
- Player Set-up:
Players have a 15 minute set-up/warm-up between rounds. If after 5 minutes, their peripheral is not working, they must switch to a location approved device. It is the player's responsibility to inform a tournament official of any difficulties that they are experiencing during the 15 minute set-up/warm-up phase
- Server crashes during a match:
Up to 15 minutes: Server restartAfter 15 minutes: Score taken when server crashed
